Description
Ironwood, after cutting, receives a grade, C, B, A, A+-, or A+. The grade is based on colors, grain, and any inclusions. The item number in the listing indicated the grade it received. If the listing is for a block, it is normally cut at 1 3/4 x 5 1/4 x 1 3/16 inches, but can vary slightly, If they are handle sets, they are the same cut down to 3/8 inch. With the blocks you can cut this down to make scales and have a bit leftover, or use it as hidden tang material. Photos are of the item being sold. Ironwood is a very hard, dense wood that polishes to a high shine.
